In 1946 the US Army conducted its only nuclear test at Bikini Atoll. The test went flawlessly. Afterward, not so much. The membrane between our earth and an alternate earth was weakened and a Daikaiju came through. Over the course of the next dozen years, 41 additional Daikaiju came through before a defensive presence was established on the other side. All Daikaiju were destroyed.
Since then, an international consortium, the Daikaiju Assessment Group(DAG), has been studying the Daikaiju to prevent future crossings. Hidden from the public, your first knowledge of DAG’s Existence came after you were recruited for a mysterious job.
